Hiiro no Kakera - Episode 2

Firstly, I’d like to comment with regards to the opening theme which has been just released in this episode. It wasn’t in my mind that it would sound so calm, but the overall aspects of the vid is just okay. The guardians are really handsome! so in love with Yuuichi! Haha. As reflected in the theme, there is still one remaining guardian that will be introduced soon. He looks so young and innocent. I wonder when he will enter the scene.

In this episode, Tamaki is starting to discover herself as the Tamayori princess but no one of the guardians seem to explain what really is to be a Tamayori princess, but as a holder of Tamayori blood, her duty is to protect the Onigirimaru that barriers the area. As explained by Oomi, it is protected by two seals, the Tamayori blood and the five seals known as artifacts. It’s really intriguing as to why the barrier seems to weaken as Oomi himself does not even know the reason behind it. It seems that Baba-sama has the idea about it and I am wondering what Baba-sama is thinking for now as she wants to be alone. I am presuming that someone takes the move to use the artifacts that made the barrier to be weakened. And who are those group of suspicious people?

Because of Tamaki’s willingness to learn anything about the Tamayori princess, they go to the warehouse wherein she is the only one who is capable to open the door which is one of the best evidences that she really has the Tamayori blood as mentioned by Oomi, plus, upon touching a certain book in there, she feels the resistance to touch it which makes them discontinue their purpose.

With this episode, our handsome guardians finally show their skills. They are so cool while seeing them fighting against those drowned gods. Takuma is the type of fighter who utilizes short range attacks with the use of his strong fist, whereas the others use mostly their magical prowess.

Overall, this episode did a progressive pacing from introducing the plot in the first episode to the development of the scene with more character development and lots would be more suspense and more actions to come. As the scene progresses, I am thinking that romance will be less focus as this anime is more on the balance of action, supernatural and school life. I therefore say that this is not just a typical reverse harem type because this anime will be much promising to show a great action-packed events.

Hiiro no Kakera - Episode 1

A PS2 game that has been adapted into anime, Hiiro no Kakera is another reverse harem type of anime that centers on a girl, in the name of Tamaki Kasuga. On her way to revisit her grandmother, an unknown creatures interrupt her way, and soon after, a guy named Takuma Onizaki (so gorgeous!) enters the scene to save her. As Tamaki arrives to her destination, her grandmother explains everything about the supernatural beings surrounding the village known as Gods. Tamaki is appointed as the Tamayori princess whose duty is to protect the Onigirimaru that barriers the village against those dangers, and also, guardians are ordered to protect the princess and Takuma whom she has met is one of them. Meanwhile, she gets to know other guardians which include Mahiro Atori, Yuuichi Komura and Suguru Oomi.

The first episode is good enough as it introduces the brief plot of the anime with the immediate introduction of the main characters which are already given emphasis as to their personality distinction and what to expect for their role. Just like any reverse harem type of anime, I am expecting the cliche part where each male characters will do something good for the heroine that makes the viewers confused of whom she’ll end up with, however, since I have not played the game, I do not think if the series involves romantic events, or maybe, if there is, a dry romance would be present.

In some point, the supernatural involvement of the anime would be quite boring, but it’s good how the creator combine it with comedy, and also, school life. The happy go lucky personality of Mahiro, the cool type Yuuichi, the softhearted Oomi and the manly Takuma would make the perfect bonding as the guardians of Tamayori princess.

Brave 10 - Episode 12 (The Final Episode)

Isanami’s darkness finally awakens and starts to devour the land. While Saizou is trying to stop her, Hanzo would interrupt him to perform such act since he is after the Kushimitama. Hanzo tries to manipulate Isanami but eventually fails to do so, and as punishment he is torned into pieces upon entering the ball of darkness.

It feels great that the ten braves of Sanada regained their strength and finally defeated their enemy. Rokuro who stayed at the Ueda temple with Sanada tried to get out from the temple just to stop Isanami from devouring the land, even his condition seemed to be still weak. What I really admire to Rokuro is his undying loyalty to Sanada, and Sanada, as we have always observed, really cares for Rokuro so much. After all, he has a big trust to Rokuro. It’s quite awkward for me to see them really close to each other in an intimate manner, but at the same time, I still feel happy with their closeness.

Saizou, who represents the light among ten braves of Sanada, enters Isanami’s darkness with his maximum strength. It was really nice to see how the light and darkness met together which made Isanami to be attached to reality. Thanks to Saizou who gave his dramatic phrases just to awaken Isanami’s mind.

I am not that contented with the ending. It is like rush events to see how Isanami showed her dark side in just single episode or even half of the episode where in fact, she is the center of every point throughout the story. For me, there should be wide emphasis for her appearance. In addition, I was expecting that she would really show how tremendous her power is as a kushimitama holder as there were only minor destruction of lands.

I guess, second season is a must! There is still the presence of Date Masamune who have plan to conquer the land and also after Isanami’s kushimitama.

Brave 10 - Episode 11

The invasion of Iga’s League of Five is still on the go, and this time, the last two members finally appear - a guy who is capable of making illusions and the cold blooded Anastasia have their match with Kamanosuke and Jinpachi, respectively.

When Kamanosuke meets his opponent, he suddenly enters to the world of illusion, and at first, I was telling to myself that this could be real and the pretty boy Kamanosuke really looks so beautiful like a princess. I had believed, he can’t never be fooled like that, because for sure, he really values his true self and can’t easily be manipulated by dramatic acts (Well, except his interest for Saizou). And I will never ever think he could be that soft-hearted woman as he is the type of guy who totally enjoys a bloody match even to death towards his enemy. Oh, it seems that I am really protecting his identity. Yeah, I really love Kamanosuke.

On the other side, here comes Ana vs. Jinpachi. I have to say that I didn’t focus on their battle that much, but instead, my eyes were set to Ana’s new outfit. God! She’s so damn sexy! One of the sexiest ninja I’ve ever seen. Her skills are good, too, but more on long range attacks which makes it boring in some point of her match.

Isanami’s getting out of control upon seeing Saizou getting weaker and weaker. Skies are getting dark as it covers the sun. I guess it’s time to show the dark side of her. I wonder if the last episode is enough to cover a great finale because as I can see, it would leave a big cliffhanger.

Brave 10 - Episode 10

Events have already reached its peak ever since Anastasia left off from the Ueda temple, and we have just found out that she is actually serving for someone in the name of Hanzo Hattori whom you are already familiar with. It was not on my mind that she would betray her companions because at the first place, there have been no clues or any unusual acts of her, so it’s quite unexpected that she has to break her loyalty to her companions, most especially to Sanada.

Here comes the Iga’s league of five which includes The Flash Speed, Herculian Strength, The Core, The Witchcrafter and The Cold Blood. The five are sent to annihilate Sanada’s ten braves who are protecting the Kushimitama. In addition, Anastasia (the so-called The Cold Blood I guess), and Hattori are one of those members of Iga’s league of five.

Sasuke and Kakei match with Kaiyo, the Witchcrafter, or also known as the Insect Master. On the other side of episode, Benmaru and Miyoshi have their battle with Byakugun, the so-called The Herculian, while Saizou fights with Hattori. To tell my honest comment, the ten braves of Sanada are just too weak to fight against their enemy although their teamwork (especially Sasuke and Kakei) shows a good harmony while unleashing their best skills, but still, they are close to be defeated by their opponent.

Love Berrish Chapter 21

I just finished reading Love Berrish Chapter 21.

Yuuya becomes more honest with her feelings to Nagisa as evident when she got jealous upon knowing that Nagisa will date a girl which was a joke made by Emika, but the problem, it actually became true. This chapter becomes more realistic in terms of its love affair involvement. I love this chapter. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Brave 10 - Episode 9

At last, after a series of episodes, the ten braves of Sanada has been completed and now, they finally head back to the Ueda temple to officially welcome the new members. The first part of this episode centers on the explanation of Sanada about the ten braves - his purpose of gathering them and the elements that each of them represents. So, Saizou represents the light whereas, Isanami holds the symbol of darkness, and I am not surprised anymore why she represents the darkness since we all know she holds the powerful tool, the Kushi-mitama, that can bring out tremendous destruction to the land.

This episode shows the point where the anime begins to reveal its unexpected events as Anastasia’s betrayal is quite intriguing and begins her moves as she attacks Rokuro to get the writings of Sanada which is stored at Rokuro’s right eye. Though he failed to protect Sanada’s writings, I was still amazed how he faced Ana so seriously because I know, Rokuro is very loyal to Sanada.

I never expect that Anastasia is serving for someone. Perhaps, she has gathered a lot of infos from her long stay at the Ueda temple, but the question, to whom is she serving? I am much excited for the next episode.

Brave 10 - Episode 8

The journey of Sanada and company continues while Date’s plan to fight against Sanada and to grab Isanami’s Kushi-mitama is still on the go. It shows how the storyline focuses on a single point and perhaps, it is quite acceptable since the anime is closely approaching its finale, so there would be no reason, I guess, to add side stories which would create fillers.

The ten braves of Sanada is finally showing their teamwork as evident when fighting against Date and his subordinates. I really like how Kamanosuke shows his whirlwind attack towards his opponent as he fights by his maximum abilities and without hesitating with his acts, he would fight his enemy even to death. Kamanosuke and Saizou really has a perfect combination among the ten braves of Sanada. Saizou finally shows his willingness to be teamed up with Kamanosuke, though sometimes he is being annoyed when Kamanosuke shows his love interest for Saizou.

While fighting against Date, Saizou shows his powerful skills as Iga Ninja, but as he introduces himself, he does not consider himself as Iga Ninja, instead he proudly says he is Kirigakure Saizou, and now he is not afraid any longer to fight for someone. Thanks to the people around him who made him realize how important is to care for other people.

At last, here comes the tenth brave of Sanada in the name of Jinpachi. Rude and arrogant in appearance, this guy actually lives in a simple way through staying at his ship and having a good time with his fellow pirates. At the end, he willingly joins Sanada to complete the ten braves.

Brave 10 - Episode 7

Brave 10 consists of 12 episodes and we’re almost halfway to the finale, but so far, it has not touched yet the peak of the anime since usually, we can get the excitement from it when we almost reach the half of the series. Probably, things will be getting exciting after ten braves of Sanada gather. Nevertheless, this episode still never fails to catch our eyes through the adventurous journey of our beloved characters.

The first half of the episode focuses on a new character. Sanada, Saizou, Rokuro and Isanami set out for another journey going to Kyou. While on their way, they meet a little boy who directs the alternative pathway to Kyou. Meanwhile, they encounter a lot of traps such as fireworks, gunpowders and other pyrotechnic devices and they soon find out that the little boy whom they passed by is the person responsible for all these traps. He introduces himself as Rokuro, however, Sanada decides to call him Benmaru since he has the same name as Rokuro to avoid confusion. At the end, Sanada accepts Benmaru’s desire to join the group.

Continuing the journey, they finally head to Kyou where they attend the meeting with the lords and thereafter, the confident Date Masamune who arrives late would want to show off his skills thus he challenges Sanada for a fight. Even though Sanada is being offered by a sword, he does not hesitate to use his personal weapon which is the fan, whereas, Date uses his own sword. The battle ends when Sanada kicks the sword out of Masamune’s hand.

I did not appreciate much the battle of sword and fan. Perhaps, I would have enjoyed if Saizou ended up to fight Date since they both actually possess the same weapon, like, swordfighting as true samurais. I hope the succeeding episodes would start to rise the peak of the storyline, probably, after all ten braves are introduced, then events would be getting exciting.

Brave 10 - Episode 6

The first half of the episode centers on a new character, introducing Miyoshi Seikai Nyudo who was a resident of Izumo shrine before he set out for a journey. He reveals himself as the brother of Isanami. Well, not literally as he just adopted Isanami in the Izumo shrine when he was about 8 years of age.

Miyoshi appears to be the hot-headed guy when somebody’s against his will as evident in the scene where he does not want to pay Kakei for his foods, then leading them to get into fight. But, he also has a soft side for Isanami as he offers his brotherly love for her, and would get jealous when Isanami gets closer to Saizou.

I find the other scenes as fillers, but I still enjoyed watching. The hotspring scene was totally funny especially the conversation of Isanami and Ana because Isanami wants to be a big-breasted too like Ana.
